SPECIAL NOTE: Thanksgiving dinner sign-ups will be done by calling the rectory at 733-5823, ext. 113. beginning on Thursday, November 3rd, between 9a.m. and 3p.m.
We are now collecting food items for our Thanksgiving Dinner ministry. Your donations help to provide Thanksgiving dinners for parishioners and also many families within our zip code area who are financially challenged. This year we are doing a “combination” request for food items, and also for monetary donations towards the purchase of gift cards for families to purchase their turkey. Food donations can be left in the sacristy by the exit doors. The items needed are:
Stuffing, Cranberry sauce, Boxed potatoes
Canned vegetables, Turkey gravy,
Boxed Macaroni & Cheese,
Brownie mix, Boxed cookies
Note: Monetary donations can be cash or checks made out to Holy Name. For your convenience, put into the collection basket in a plain envelope marked “Turkey Donation”.
We’ll resume collecting for the Open Pantry after Thanksgiving.
