Message from From Your Pastor

On this Fifth Sunday of Easter Mother Church offers us a message from John's Gospel (14:1-12) that runs thus: “Do not let your hearts be troubled...I am The way, the truth and life.” These words reference Christ talking to troubled hearts. What is abundantly clear is: he does not give a map. He gives himself. So, To speak our peace comes from not from knowing every step ahead, but from Knowing who walks with us.

In today's second reading (1 peter 2:4-9), Peter calls us living stones in God's House. Christ is the cornerstone—without Him we crumble. With Him we stand strong together. As our faith life grows being aware of this helps: when life feels uncertain, let us remember: Jesus is not a guide—He is the way. It is critical to trust Him always, follow Him and you will find life. Days ahead I encourage: trust Jesus in your joys, worries, challenges. If there is anything worth doing it is this: endeavor to stay connected to Christ your cornerstone. You will see the benefits in due season.
