On Thursday afternoon we received word from the Diocese that parishes should follow the public health department’s guidance, and for Springfield, that is a mask mandate for indoor settings and outdoor spaces when 6 ft. social distancing can’t be adhered to. This includes Masses, meetings and appointments and is for everyone, vaccinated or not. We are also asked to resume full sanitation procedures.
